From 1996 until 2005 the Beaconsfield Environmental Committee (BEC) was a proactive educational resource for the Administration and residents of Beaconsfield (Québec, Canada) on issues concerning the safe-keeping of a healthy environment. 

In 2006 we welcomed the formation of the Beaconsfield Environmental Advisory Committee (BEAC), a committee formed within the city administration, which freed BEC from its council advisory role.

Having accomplished many of the objectives of its original mandate, BEC continues to be involved with many issues that concern us regarding our natural environment.

BEC remains vigilant on the issue of pesticide regulation.

This website serves as an information resource for local residents who wish to minimize the impact  of their gardening and living activities on our natural environment. 

De 1996 à 2005 le CEB (Comité Environnemental de Beaconsfield) agissait comme ressource éducatif pour l'administration et les résidents de Beaconsfield (Québec, Canada)  dans le but de préserver un environnement sain. 

En 2006, la ville a formé leur propre comité consultatif sur l'environnement de Beaconsfield (CCEB).

Ayant accompli de nombreux objectifs dans notre mandat,  CEB continue de s'impliquer dans les problèmes d'environnement qui nous concernent.

CEB reste vigilant sur la polémique de la régulation des pesticides.
